Test Driven Solutions has announced a new senior leadership team amid its global expansion plans. David McAvelia, Andy Thompson, Adrian Pollard and Jack Reed will head up the firm.

Founded in 2020, Technology consultancy Test Driven Solutions (TDS) has rapidly established itself as one of the UK’s fastest-growing software consultancies, specialising in software development, testing, platform engineering, and user-centred design. Serving clients across financial services, the public sector, and beyond, the company has grown from a six-figure start-up in year one to an eight-figure global business – all built on organic, self-funded growth.

As the firm looks to build on its early momentum, it has announced key plans for the year ahead. In 2026, TDS will open a new office in Edinburgh, while later in the year it says that it is working on the launch of a new base in Latin America – adding to its 160 people in offices in Newcastle, Poland and Canada.

As part of its next stage of growth, TDS has introduced a senior leadership team with several key appointments joining the company over the past few months. Together, they bring a wealth of experience across technology, finance, operations and commercial growth, each focused on strengthening TDS’s position as a trusted partner for clients and a great place to work. Their collective priorities include expanding the company’s service offering, embedding innovation through AI and emerging technologies, enhancing operational excellence, and ensuring that TDS continues to grow sustainably without losing the culture and authenticity that define it.

David McAvelia is TDS’ chief revenue officer. Bringing over two decades of experience in recruitment and software consultancy, he will focus on developing commercial strategies and new market opportunities.

Andy Thompson has become chief of staff. The seasoned HR and operations leader boasts 25 years’ experience in high-growth technology businesses, and will focus on scaling sustainably while preserving TDS’s unique culture.

Adrian Pollard is named financial director. A finance expert with more than 20 years of experience in strategic financial planning and systems integration, he will bolster the firm’s growth plans, and offer long-term stability.

Jack Reed will now serve as head of technology services. As one of TDS’s longest-serving leaders, he is helping to shape the company’s technical strategy and ensure innovation remains at the forefront of delivery.

Sam Clark, founder and CEO of Test Driven Solutions, said, “When I founded TDS, my goal was to build a consultancy that truly cared about its people, one where quality, culture and collaboration came first. The growth we’ve achieved over the past five years has been incredible, but it’s been built on our values and our people. As we enter this next phase of expansion, I’m proud to welcome our new leadership team, who bring the experience, insight and drive needed to take TDS to the next level, while staying true to who we are. The opening of our Edinburgh office and our expansion into Latin America mark an exciting new chapter in our journey, and I’m confident the best is yet to come.”
