Valcon hires Simon de Timary to lead Data practice in UK
International consulting firm Valcon has appointed Simon de Timary as Head of Data in its UK business.
Simon de Timary brings around 15 years of experience in consulting to his new role, with a focus on data-driven business transformation, data and emerging technologies, and digital transformation.
He joins Valcon from BJSS (part of CGI), where he was Head of AI and Data. Managing a team of business and technology consultants, De Timary was responsible for helping clients find ways to drive value through innovation and emerging technologies. Prior to BJSS, he held a series of senior AI and data engineering roles at Accenture.
At Valcon, De Timary will be responsible for managing and growing the data and AI capability in the UK, working collaboratively with partners across the group and overseeing the delivery of innovative data and AI solutions to help clients unlock value and improve performance.

De Timary takes over from Martin Paice, who has moved to become Head of Technology.
