Differentis marks 25 years with new national transformation summit at Alton Towers
As it celebrates a quarter-century in business, Differentis has announced it will host a new national event. The DiffExpo25 summit will take place in early September, and will feature discussions with leaders in innovation, inclusivity and business transformation.
With most business transformations still ending in failure, securing the right support for organisational change can make or break a company’s plans. With change management consulting taking on new levels of importance amid the rush for digital and AI-driven business transformations, Differentis is celebrating its 25th anniversary in style.
The firm, which specialises in intelligent transformation and strategic advice, has announced the launch of a new flagship event: DiffExpo25 – Dare to Be Different. Taking place at Alton Towers Conference Centre on Tuesday 2nd September 2025, it will provide a forum for practitioners at the forefront of business and digital transformation.
According to a release from Differentis, the one-day event brings together leaders from across industry, boasting over 130 years of collective experience, to “explore how bold, people-led thinking can create real, long-term change”.
Re-organisational expertise
The launch of DiffExpo25 follows a year of strategic transformation at Differentis itself, including a company-wide reorganisation, the achievement of multiple quality and security accreditations (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials), and expanded work with public and private sector clients.
Dave King, managing director of Differentis, commented, “This event is both a reflection and a response. We’ve spent 25 years helping organisations navigate change, and this year, we’ve undergone our own. DiffExpo25 is our way of sharing learning, opening up practical conversations, and creating space for new ideas to be explored.”
The event will feature keynote sessions, facilitated workshops and panel discussions covering topics including AI adoption, inclusive innovation, transformation culture, and systems thinking. The speaker line-up includes: Louise Robey, a change consultant, podcaster, and former BBC transformation director; Dr Ashwin Mehta, an AI strategist and founder of Mehtadology; Nigel Kilpatrick, author and workplace culture advocate, founder of Compassion in Business; and Jayne Manley, director of Sunnyhill Consultants and former chief executive of Earth Trust.
Organisers say the event aims to move away from theoretical transformation and towards real-world insight, creating dialogue between decision-makers across sectors facing fast-moving challenges. To that end, King stressed the firm was “not launching another expo for the sake of it”. Instead, the event is “about practical, honest, experience-led perspectives on how to do things differently and do them well.”
