Beccy Fenton to take on global leadership of healthcare at KPMG

UK-based Beccy Fenton has been appointed global head of healthcare for KPMG. The news comes as KPMG International announces the appointment of four new global sector heads.

With 13 years at KPMG in the UK, Beccy Fenton has held several significant roles. Most recently this has included UK head of infrastructure, government and healthcare, and KPMG co-global lead for care system redesign. Her leadership has driven over 100% growth in the UK’s healthcare business, securing a leading market position.

Notably, Fenton guided crucial healthcare support during the Covid-19 pandemic for the UK government, the NHS and private healthcare organisations. Her experience in audit, transformation, and strategy, combined with deep industry knowledge, led KPMG to pick her for her new position.

The UK-based partner succeeds Anna van Poucke, who will retire after an impressive tenure of more than 30 years in the healthcare industry. That has included 15 years with KPMG in the Netherlands and KPMG International, during which time, Van Poucke spearheaded a global network of more than 5,000 healthcare professionals, serving as a key trusted advisor to top health leaders.

This comes at a time of broader change for KPMG International, which has appointed four new global sector heads, including Fenton. Elsewhere, to lead Geoff Rushwill head banking and capital markets, Dean Grandy will lead government, and Lisa Kelvy will head up infrastructure and transport sectors; strengthening the leadership team and reinforcing member firm commitments to delivering sector-specific insights and innovation to clients worldwide.
