Chantelle Bega-McCarron joins Visku as consultant

Professional services firm Visku has welcomed a new consultant to its UK team. Chantelle Bega-McCarron brings more than two decades of supply chain services and advisory experience to the role.

Chantelle Bega-McCarron has joined Visku after spending 20 years working across a variety of third-party logistics (3PLs) roles. 3PLs is an organisation’s long-term commitment of outsourcing its distribution services, via external logistics businesses. 

In this capacity, Bega-McCarron spent spells with GIST and Kuehne + Nagel, before joining DHL in 2013. Over the following 13 years, she worked to help partners in DHL’s supply chain stream to enhance their sales and solution design – latterly as a senior process optimisation manager – where she “helped businesses improve their supply chains and deliver meaningful cost savings”.

In a post on LinkedIn, Bega-McCarron said of joining Visku, "Throughout my career, I’ve had the pleasure of working with a number of well-known companies, gaining extensive experience in supply chain strategy, warehouse design and implementation, operational process reviews, and cost and operations modelling, as well as managing tender and bid processes.”

Starting in 2008 as Bis Henderson, Visku is a logistics recruitment and warehousing solutions consultancy, matching businesses with surplus warehouse space across the UK and Europe.

Visku’s consultancy services aim to bring visibility to stock control and logistics operations, while its warehousing services manage product stock, known in the industry as SKUs. This is where the firm takes its name from; as it was perceived as the perfect base from which to recently start redefining the brand’s offerings.
