Accenture names Will Pritchett as Insurance lead for UK, Ireland and Africa

Global consulting and technology firm Accenture has appointed Will Pritchett as insurance industry lead for the UK, Ireland, and Africa region.
Will Pritchett currently leads Accenture’s life, pensions and investments portfolio across EMEA, helping clients navigate complex industry challenges and deliver large-scale transformation. He will retain this role alongside his new position.
As Insurance lead, Pritchett will oversee client management and project delivery across the insurance landscape, coverings all of Accenture’s offerings in consulting, creative, technology, and outsourcing. He oversees teams in 14 offices in the UK, Ireland and Africa.
Prior to joining Accenture early 2024, he held executive committee roles (CIO and COO) at Royal London, one of the UK’s larger mutual life, pensions and investment companies. He also held an executive position at Royal Sun Alliance.
During his more-than years in consulting at KPMG and Accenture (in his first spell at the firm), Pritchett focused on IT advisory and technology-led transformation programmes, combining customer-led digital ambitions with the need to address legacy technology constraints.
This included leading a global IT strategy for one of the world’s largest multi-line insurers and leading the delivery of a two-year cloud and finance transformation for a UK-based mutual insurer.
According to a recent Consultancy.uk benchmark, Accenture ranks among the 10 leading insurance consulting firms in the British market.
