Xynteo adds Erik Darner to partner team in London office
Erik Darner joins Xynteo with the remit to lead its Investments & Transactions practice worldwide, and help the consulting firm expand its offerings across energy transition and infrastructure, decarbonisation and low-carbon solutions.

Headquartered in London, with further offices in Mumbai and Gurugram (India), Xynteo provides expert-led sustainability and energy transition services to organisations and investors. The firm has around 100 staff.
Darner brings over 15 years of leadership experience across the energy value chain with a focus on investing in energy infrastructure, scaling low-carbon solutions, energy security, energy transition, and industrial decarbonisation. His experience and expertise span across strategy development, transactions and major capital decisions, having advised on over $150 billion of transactions and capital raises.
Most recently serving as Managing Director of the Energy Transition Advisory practice at S&P Global, with responsibility for the EMEA region, Darner previously held lead roles at IHS Markit and IHS CERA, where he built and expanded energy strategy & transactions advisory practices across Asia Pacific and Europe.
