John Gariba joins Simon-Kucher as partner in Healthcare practice
Commercial growth and pricing consultancy Simon-Kucher has announced the appointment of a new partner in its healthcare and life sciences wing. John Gariba lead the firm’s efforts in the healthcare transaction services space.
Gariba commented, “I’m excited to join Simon-Kucher at a time of great momentum for the Transaction Services practice. Simon-Kucher is a global consultancy with more than 2,000 employees in 30 countries. Its focus is on optimising commercial strategy – from product, to price, innovation, marketing, and sales – to help its clients boost revenue and profits.
The advisory firm has already been carrying out commercial due diligence work for many clients within healthcare and life sciences, but the arrival of Gariba is a key milestone in further building this practice. Having earned a degree in pharmacology before training and practicing as a physician in the UK's National Health Service, Gariba brings nearly two decades of experience at the intersection of healthcare and deals.

Gariba joins Simon-Kucher from Strategy&, where he advised private equity and corporate clients in investments in the health and life sciences sector both in Europe and the United States. His expertise spans a broad range of subsectors, including pharma-tech and services, medical devices, diagnostics, consumer healthcare and pharmaceuticals.
