Z Hotels selects SDK Consulting for revenue management support

Growing boutique hotel group Z Hotels has appointed a consulting firm to help develop its commercial strategy. SDK Consulting will help to expand the group’s distribution network, and access new market opportunities.
Founded in 2011, Z Hotels is a boutique hotel group, known for its compact accommodations in prime city-centre locations across the UK. Z Hotels caters to modern travellers seeking a comfortable and efficient stay, offering options to stay with the company in London, Liverpool, Glasgow and Bath.
SDK Consulting is a revenue and commercial consultancy for hotels, and has been appointed to help the boutique chain develop its commercial strategy – as well as running its revenue and distribution department. In this engagement, Jon Siberry will lead Z Hotels’ commercial function as director of revenue management overseeing the revenue strategy at both the group and unit levels of the 14 property portfolio.

Beyond the revenue management team, Siberry will focus on distribution, revenue management technology, rate strategy, business analysis, and strategic planning. In particular, SDK Consulting will be collaborating closely with the e-commerce and operations teams to work on growing the portfolio and maximising performance across all areas.

Siberry has over 30 years experience running hotels, in both Rooms and Food & Beverage. He obtained a degree in Hotel Management in Bermuda in the early 90’s. Following many years working in hotels around the world, SDK Consulting was established in 2004. At the same time, he has been group revenue manager at Saraova Hotels since 2005 – a position he will also maintain, supporting and co-ordinating each of the revenue managers in its four UK hotels.
