Lee Coutanche joins Moorfields as director

Moorfields has strengthened its commercial finance team with the appointment of Lee Coutanche. Joining as a director, he brings more than 17 years of experience to the role.

As a director in commercial finance, Lee Coutanche brings 17 years of knowhow to the firm – specialising in sourcing and structuring finance for SMEs. A Coutanche has a strong track record of helping small and medium-sized businesses access tailored financial solutions to support growth, expansion, and operational stability. This includes roles with Peak Cashflow, Newable Commercial Finance, Close Brothers Invoice Finance, RBS Invoice Finance, and Bibby Financial Services, where he was instrumental in crafting funding strategies for SMEs, securing capital, and optimising financial structures to support business growth.
Looking ahead, at Moorfields, he will continue to expand the firm's reputation and geographical reach – at a time when the firm is expanding its national footprint. By strengthening its presence in key markets and working alongside trusted partners in the ABL market, he aims to position the company as the go-to partner for SMEs looking to scale and succeed.

At the turn of the year, Beavis Morgan and restructuring consultancy Moorfields Advisory joined the Kinbrook Group. This move followed a strategic investment from private equity firm Blixt in Kinbrook, and will enable the network to expand and collaborate with new partners in the years to come.
