As it looks to strengthen its services offered in the region, FRP Advisory has appointed five new experts to its Isle of Man team. Ashley Harris, Romana Partington, Kellie-Ann O’Hare, Melissa Sexton and Georgia Devlin each take up roles in the firm’s Douglas-based office.

FRP Advisory provides a professional and considered approach to problem solving. With more than 800 employees, including 108 partners, FRP is one of the UK’s largest independent business advisory firms specialising in corporate restructuring, corporate finance, forensic services, financial advisory and debt advisory.

Based on the island’s capital of Douglas, FRP’s Isle of Man office made a positive contribution towards FRP Advisory Group’s results for the first six months of FY25, which saw revenue increase 32% to £77.6 million and the business remain the UK’s leading administration appointment taker by volume. Looking to build on this momentum, the office has doubled its size to 10 team members.

Romana Partington has joined as senior administrator. She brings 18 years of accounting and professional services experience, having most recently worked as a private client accountant at Stonehage Fleming.

Georgia Devlin has arrived as an assistant manager, on long-term secondment from FRP’s London office. A contentious insolvency specialist, her arrival expands the range of services offered to FRP’s local and international client base directly from the Isle of Man – building on its existing insolvency offering and its commercial advice on issues such as shareholder disputes, corporate simplification and reorganisation, regulatory intervention and director conduct.

Meanwhile, Ashley Harris has also joined FRP as an assistant manager, and Kellie-Ann O’Hare arrives as an insolvency administrator. Melissa Sexton joins FRP’s Isle of Man office as an executive PA and office manager.

Gordon Wilson, partner at FRP, commented, “We have big ambitions to be the leading restructuring firm on the island, combining our local expertise with the specialisms we have across our national office network to provide the very best service to our clients. Within a year after the FRP brand arriving in Douglas, we’re already significantly expanding our team. Ashley, Romana, Kellie-Ann, Melissa and Georgia will each play critical roles in our growth journey, and we’re excited to have them on board.”

The news further reflects FRP’s commitment to the local community. Recently, this also saw the firm sign a three-year deal as the principal sponsor of FC Isle of Man, beginning in 2025.
