Rajeev Singh named transport and mobility lead at Publicis Sapient EMEA

Digital business transformation firm Publicis Sapient has appointed Rajeev Singh as its EMEA and APAC industry leader for transportation and mobility. A former Big Four expert, he brings close to three decades of experience to the consultancy.
As the digital business transformation hub of Publicis Groupe – which has 20,000 people and over 50 offices worldwide – Publicis Sapient is a digital business transformation company, working to help its clients position their businesses for change, with a digital core.
In a time of rapid change for the automotive sector, the firm has seen heightened demand from transport and mobility clients in particular. The consultancy works to develop and implement new innovations in the sector, such as Renault’s Plug Inn, a peer-to-peer platform that connects EV drivers across France to a network of home and business charging stations.
As Publicis Sapient looks to build on this legacy, it has installed a new head of its EMEA and APAC transport and mobility team. Primarily based in India, Rajeev Singh will work with clients across the two regions, to identify their business challenges and opportunities, before using SPEED —Strategy, Product, Experience, Engineering and Data and AI — capabilities, to craft and deliver transformative strategies in the sector.
“We’re excited to welcome Rajeev to Publicis Sapient,” said Nigel Vaz, CEO of Publicis Sapient. “With over 27 years of experience across industry and consulting, Rajeev brings exceptional expertise to our team. His deep knowledge of the automotive and transportation industries, along with his record in driving large-scale digital business transformation, will be critical in helping our clients thrive in an AI-driven world. Rajeev’s leadership will play a key role in advancing our mission of delivering impact and long-term value to our clients.”
Singh joins from Deloitte, where he led the automotive and consumer industries across Asia Pacific. Bringing over 27 years of experience, also including stays with fellow Big Four firms KPMG and PwC, as well as Tata Motors, his expertise spans business strategy and execution, managing revenue and market growth, manufacturing, supply chain and procurement.
Singh commented, "Joining Publicis Sapient is an incredible opportunity to be part of a company renowned for its innovative approach to digital business transformation and commitment to driving impactful change for its clients. I am eager to leverage my experience and expertise to drive meaningful outcomes for our clients in the transportation and mobility sector and collaborate with a team that is dedicated to transforming businesses for the AI-driven digital future.”
