S-RM appoints Rich Fogarty as Americas head of disputes and investigations
S-RM has appointed Rich Fogarty as its new head of disputes and investigations practice in the Americas. Fogarty brings decades of experience to the newly created role.
Sam Taylor, head of corporate intelligence at S-RM, commented, “We’re very excited that Rich has joined our firm to head S-RM’s disputes and investigations team. We continue to invest in hiring those individuals best placed to deliver high-quality work to our clients, and Rich represents our dedication to that commitment.”
Founded in 2005, S-RM is an international consultancy with 400 practitioners spanning nine international offices, serving clients across all regions and major sectors. As well as its London headquarters, and a Manchester locale launched earlier in 2023, S-RM also has hubs in New York, Washington DC, Rio De Janeiro, Cape Town, Singapore, Hong Kong and Utrecht.
The appointment comes at a time of rapid growth for S-RM across the Americas. As part of his newly created role, Fogarty will therefore also focus on developing S-RM’s investigative and dispute services in the US and throughout Latin America. Fogarty joins S-RM as a veteran investigative consultant with a deep prosecutorial background, and will spearhead complex litigation support for clients navigating difficult issues in unfamiliar geographies.
Fogarty began his career as an examining attorney in the New York City Department of Investigation – but has since worked in senior roles across a number of consultancies. These include Kroll Associates, Navigant Consulting, Capstone Advisory, Berkeley Research group, Alvarez & Marsal, and HKA, before becoming an independent consultant.
Speaking on his new challenge, he added, “I am excited to be joining S-RM with its extensive global capabilities, top experts and investigators, and stellar reputation with clients and counsel. S-RM’s global reach, capabilities, and calibre of service provide a great platform for the growth of their investigative services across many industries operating in jurisdictions around the globe. I look forward to expanding S-RM's Disputes & Investigations practice in Latin America and the U.S. and to further the goal of making S-RM the go-to investigations firm for the Americas.”
