André Holhozinskyj has joined European data consultancy Synvert as the firm’s CEO. The new leader joins from Accenture to support Synvert’s latest growth phase.

A statement from Synvert read, “André’s leadership in orchestrating complex, high-impact projects, coupled with his strategic insight, positions him as the ideal person to drive Synvert's mission to become the go-to partner for data-driven innovation in Europe and beyond. We’re excited to embark on this new chapter and are looking forward to the expertise and energy André brings as we work toward establishing synvert as the leading Data & AI consultancy for businesses ready to embrace the future.”

Formed last year through the merger of seven boutique consulting firms in multiple countries, Synvert is a 600-person firm dedicated to data services, including data management, cloud, analytics and artificial intelligence. The company has partnerships with major technology venders such as Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, Microsoft, Google, and Oracle. The firm reportedly serves over 250 clients across Europe.

In his new role as chief executive officer, André Holhozinskyj will head up the firm’s teams in Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, Croatia, the UAE and the US. He has also been assigned the goal of driving year-on-year double-digit growth in the coming years, in line with Synvert’s broader ambition to become one of Europe’s leading data consultancy firms. According to the firm’s release, his plans to reach these goals include building momentum “through both organic growth and targeted acquisitions”.

“Our growth plans are ambitious, with targets for double-digit growth that we will pursue through a combination of organic expansion and strategic acquisitions throughout the EMEA region,” Holhozinskyj said. “Through our blend of data-driven solutions with AI and cloud technologies, we are well-positioned to increase companies’ long-term business competitiveness.”

Holhozinskyj joins from Accenture, where he spent close to two decades across two spells, latterly serving as a managing director and transformation lead for BPS ASGR in the firm’s DACH operations. This saw him he manage large-scale transformational projects valued at over €100 million. Prior to that, he also gained experience in industry with data insights company GfK, where he held several senior roles including global head of operations.
