Victoria Head appointed as new CEO for Archus
Global healthcare consultancy Archus has appointed Victoria Head as its new CEO. Chair of the Board Alex Sleeth commented that her experience and track record “make her the ideal leader to guide Archus into its next phase of growth”.
“We are confident that under her leadership, the company will continue to thrive and achieve new heights,” Sleeth added.
Launched in 2017, Archus is a team of experts providing strategic and infrastructure advice to health and social care clients. Its team of health planners, clinicians, data analysts, project managers, strategic advisors and technical specialists support clients across the UK, Ireland and internationally, with offices in Bristol, London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Swansea, Dublin, Cork and Toronto.
For the last seven years, the firm has been headed up by founder Richard Darch. Under his leadership, Archus has achieved numerous milestones, including expanding internationally, becoming a B Corp organisation, and securing investment from BGF in 2023.
However, as the firm looks to push on into a new phase of growth, Darch has decided the time is right to transition into a new role – and make way for Head as CEO. Effective from the start of November 2024, she succeeds Darch at a key moment in the firm’s history.

Most recently Head was commercial and performance director of Archus, where she has worked since 2021. She has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare, consultancy, and construction industries. She began her career in the NHS, quickly moving into consultancy where she managed capital projects and programmes and was sought out by clients for her exceptional project management and leadership skills.
