Ellie Norman joins Cynozure advisory board

Former Manchester United and Formula 1 executive Ellie Norman has joined Cynozure’s advisory board. She will maintain her responsibilities as the newly appointed CMO of Formula E alongside the role.

Cynozure is one of the UK’s fastest growing consultancies, having been named on The Sunday Times’ fastest-growing private companies in both 2023 and 2022. The firm also ranks among the UK’s leading data science consulting firms.

Recently, the firm has been building its internal experience with a succession of advisory board appointments. Earlier in 2024, this saw insurance and financial services consulting expert Kim Gray has join Cynozure’s advisory board, having previously served as a leader with NTT Data UK.

Now, Cynozure has added more talent to its advisory board, welcoming Ellie Norman to the team. Norman brings a wealth of experience in B2C brand building, customer engagement, and strategic communications through data-driven insights.

Most recently, Norman worked as the chief communications officer at Manchester United Football Club, where she was responsible for media relations, public affairs, brand development, creative content and fan engagement. Before joining her time at the club, she also served as the chief marketing officer at Formula 1, where she led growth in the sport’s fan base and was part of the executive team.

Alongside her new role with Cynozure, she has also been appointed as the chief marketing officer at Formula E, further solidifying her reputation as a leader in the sports marketing industry. She will complete these responsibilities alongside other non-executive roles at The Marketing Society.
