MCA Awards announces 2025 timeline
The 2024 MCA Awards ceremony is fast approaching – with the much-anticipated event taking place in mid-October. But before the last cycle has even ended, the organisers have kicked off preparations for the next edition.
Hosted by the UK consulting industry’s representative body, the Management Consultancies Association’s MCA Awards are the most prestigious event in the sector’s yearly calendar. Highlighting the work done by consultants in partnership with clients as well as the talent across the sector, each year, the awards continue to grow.
Over 40 leading consulting firms of all sizes have secured places as finalists for the 2024 MCA Awards. The winners will be announced October 15th, at a black-tie event in London’s Grosvenor Hotel. But before all of that, the MCA has commenced plans for its 2025 outing.
The MCA Award timeline for 2025 has been announced, with the official launch for the awards taking place on Friday September 20th at an online event hosted by the MCA. During this event, the full list of categories for 2025 will be announced along with details on the entry routes available for member and non-member firms. The MCA Awards highlight the outstanding work done by consultants in partnership with clients as well as the breadth of talent working across the sector. Each year the awards continue to grow attracting participation from large, medium and small sized firms across the industry.
The next edition will follow in the footsteps of one of the largest MCA Awards ever. In 2024 there were entries from over 45 leading consulting firms and over 100 client organisations participated in the tough competitive process to reach the finalist stage. Looking ahead, MCA CEO Tamzen Isacsson expects the event’s popularity to maintain this momentum.

We’re grateful that so many brilliant judges have agreed to join the panel once again this year and thank them for their time and expertise they so willingly dedicate to our industry. We encourage all firms to carefully read all the entry terms and conditions and plan their written entries with clients early as only the best will get through, in what is a very tough and competitive process.”
There will be 25 award categories in 2025 with 10 individual awards and 12 project awards as well as an award for Best New Consultancy, The Times Consultant of the Year and Project of the Year. Entries will open on the 20th of September 2024, and close on the 14th of March 2025. Interviews with consultants, firms and their clients with the judges will take place in June and July, before winners will be announced at the awards ceremony itself, which will take place in a later slot of the 10th November 2025.
