Alessia Di Giacomo joins Project One as consulting director
Project One has announced the addition of Alessia Di Giacomo to its team. She brings more than two decades of experience as a change director with international companies.
On her appointment, Di Giacomo remarked, "Three key elements make Project One special to me: the firm’s team of experienced change professionals delivering flexible and fully customised solutions; an entrepreneurial and agile culture; and a consulting approach that emphasises efficiency, autonomy, and creativity."
Established in 1998, Project One is a consultancy which works for UK and global clients, including the likes of AstraZeneca, BAE Systems, Liberty Global, HSBC, Rolls-Royce, O2, The Co-operative Group, and Virgin Media Group. The advisory firm also specialises in Programme Management Office (PMO) expertise – encompassing a range of key responsibilities in a business.
Di Giacomo’s arrival further strengthens that offering, having previously spent 23 years in the professional services sector, specialising on people change. Having commenced her career at EY as a change management analyst, before holding HR, talent and organisation management roles with Accenture and KPMG. Di Giacomo also spent a year as head of transformation management in the UK wing of Argon & Co, before her most recent role as a director with North Highland, specialising in employee engagement and behavioural change.
As a keynote speaker and educator in leadership development, diversity, equity, and inclusion, she also emphasises that the most crucial lesson she has learned over the years is that "change is the only constant." According to a release from Project One, her passion for work systems transformation and human sustainability in the workplace will help the firm support new client wins in the field.
David Knappett, director of market development, expressed his enthusiasm about the appointment, "We are thrilled to welcome Alessia to the team. Her extensive experience and passion for driving transformative change, which focuses on creating value for people and organisations, aligns perfectly with our values at Project One.”
Di Giacomo’s appointment marks another milestone for Project One following a year of successes, including achieving diamond status for project management and platinum for the public sector in Consultancy.uk’s 2024 industry rankings. The firm also received 11 recommendations in the Financial Times UK’s Leading Management Consultants report.
