Skarbek appoints Gabin Vic as vice president in client delivery
Gabin Vic has joined Skarbek as a vice president for the firm’s client delivery team. He brings more than 25 years of experience from across the fast moving consumer goods sector.
"I am thrilled to join the Skarbek team and contribute to the company’s mission of driving innovation and excellence," said Vic. "I look forward to working with such a talented group of professionals and leveraging my experience to deliver outstanding results for our clients."
Vic was most recently global vice president of hair and skin beauty tech innovation with L'Oréal, and was previously a research manager with Unilever. Through those roles he has accrued extensive experience organising and leading R&D within international FMCG companies.
In particular, he has led initiatives from initial research to product development, ensuring a well-balanced and innovative product pipeline. His leadership encompasses R&D transformation, strategy development and implementation, global portfolio management and close collaboration with marketing teams to align business objectives with innovation strategies.
With over 80 patents and 14 peer-reviewed scientific publications, Vic is widely recognised as an expert in the development of innovative beauty devices, advanced formulations and cutting-edge digital technologies. He joins the firm following the recent appointment of new Senior Partner Toni Marshall.
"Such a fantastic addition to the Skarbek team," Marshall added. "The wealth of knowledge and experience Gabin brings is exceptional. Looking forward to the continued growth of Skarbek and its outstanding team."
Marshall also arrived from the consumer goods sector. Joining from Reckitt, Marshall brought over 15 years of extensive experience in commercial, operational and strategic leadership roles to Skarbek.
Founded in 2012, Skarbek specialises in strategy execution, and works for a variety of clients, including in the life sciences, fast moving consumer goods, beauty and luxury sectors. The firm was last month named among the UK’s leading management consulting firms for the second year in a row.
