Valcon to supply cloud consulting services to UK government

Valcon has won a place on a framework to supply cloud consulting services to the UK government. The firm will offer project delivery support to government departments as they try to streamline and digitise public services, and improve usability.

Governments and large corporate networks often deploy consulting frameworks like Cloud Compute 2 as a means to expedite the appointment of advisors across different departments, while also ensuring consistent value for money. Crown Commercial Service (CCS) is an executive agency of the Cabinet Office, supporting the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services.

Having been selected by the CCS, Valcon will be providing professional services related to cloud and data to government customers through the framework. The Cloud Compute 2 framework enables CCS customers to access essential cloud services like Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS), along with a variety of ancillary and professional services for enhanced cloud management and security.
