Oliver Wight Named Goody External Partner of the Year
The Europe, Africa and Middle East wing of Oliver Wight has been named external partner of the year by multinational food company, GoodyCo. The award marks the appreciation of GoodyCo for services Oliver Wight provided during a landmark integrated business planning project at the Saudi Arabian company.
Integrated business planning (IBP) is a process for translating desired business outcomes into financial and operational resource requirements. This includes the overarching objective of maximising profit and cash flow, while cutting down risk.
Oliver Wight is a consultancy which specialises in IBP services, helping organisations to transform their business performance to deliver sustainable benefits measured in quantifiable improvements. This sees it work with some of the world's best-known organisations, offering tailor-making business improvement programme to meet the individual needs of each and every business.
One of these partners is GoodyCo. Headquartered in Saudi Arabia, with operations in South Africa and the UAE, GoodCo is a food company which currently produces more than 200 different products. The company is working to expand into new international markets – and in February 2021, GoodyCo contacted Oliver Wight EAME to help it embark on a new IBP programme to enable that ambition.
After Oliver Wight’s engagement, GoodyCo obtained a Class A IBP rank by November 2022. Companies that achieve Class A excellence are top performers in their industries. They consistently deliver sustainable business results, shareholder satisfaction, and excellent customer service.

However, the Saudi-based firm was also keen to recognise the commitment of Oliver Wight when it came to the achievement. As a result, the consultancy has been named GoodyCo’s external partner of the year at its annual company awards.
