Bain & Company opened 47th office in Istanbul
Bain & Company has opened a new office in Istanbul. The new office is the 20th in Europe and 47th office worldwide. Karaca Kestelli, partner in the Financial Services Practice, and Roberto Fiorello, partner in the Telecommunications, Media & Technology Practice, have been appointed as Managing Directors.
Bain & Company is one of the last strategic advisory firms entering the Turkish market. Boston Consulting Group opened an office in Istanbul in 2003, it closed in 2005 and reopened in 2010. Roland Berger Strategy Consultants founded an office in Istanbul in 2008. Rival A.T. Kearney opened its location in July 2011. Also McKinsey and Booz & Company (by merging with Helix Management Consultants) are present in the Turkish capital. OC&C Strategy Consultants and Simon-Kucher & Partners do not have offices in Turkey.
Other advisory firms that do have an establishment in Istanbul are, amongst others, Accenture, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, Grant Thornton, Hay Group, KPMG, Mercer, PwC, Solving Efeso and Tower Watson.
