Jay Thurston joins Moore as tax partner designate

Professional services network Moore has welcomed Jay Thurston as a new partner. He arrives in the firm’s tax wing, and will be based in its Home Counties offices.

Speaking on his move, Thurston noted, “Moore has a great reputation for delivering innovative and client-focused solutions. I’m looking forward to working closely with Francis and the very welcoming team at Moore to expand the firm’s delivery of tax and probate services, and to help clients overcome their challenges and realise their goals.”

Thurston arrives with a wealth of experience and expertise in both business and personal tax. Most recently, he was a tax associate partner with Haines Watt, and was heavily involved in probate and estate work nationwide for clients of all sizes and complexity, assisting with their inheritance tax, estate planning and probate requirements.

He joins Moore as a Tax Partner Designate for its Northern Home Counties cluster – splitting his time in its Stevenage and Enfield offices. A release from Moore also stated that the appointment is part of the firm’s strategic growth plan and further strengthens Moore’s commitment to delivering exceptional services to a growing client base.
