Anders Nemeth made Global Head of Banking at Oliver Wyman

Oliver Wyman has named Anders Nemeth as the firm’s new global head of banking and financial services. The news comes following a period of significant growth for the consultancy’s practice.

With offices in more than 70 cities across 30 countries, Oliver Wyman is a management consultancy which provides strategy, operations and risk management services to clients around the world. The firm has more than 6,000 professionals, and its London office is its largest presence in Europe.

The firm’s financial wing has been booming since it won a major contract for the integration of UBS and Credit Suisse. Looking ahead, as Oliver Wyman continues to work with other top-tier financial institutions, to optimise their financial resources, transform their treasury capabilities, manage risks, and drive business growth, it has installed a new head of its global banking practice.

Anders Nemeth takes up the role with immediate effect. Based in New York City, he will also continue to be a member of Oliver Wyman’s global leadership team and its global operating committee.

Prior to his new role, Nemeth served as head of financial services for the Americas, which grew significantly under his leadership cementing the firm’s standing with the world’s leading financial services institutions.  Prior to that, he was a key architect and leader of Oliver Wyman Digital and led the group’s evolution, guiding its digital innovation and transformation advisory business along with its data science, technical design, and delivery capabilities.
