Steven Phillips, Managing Partner at Newton, said, “People are at the heart of delivering lasting and meaningful impact to our clients, and as we grow, making sure everyone can perform at their very best becomes more important than ever. It was clear from day one that Helen’s operating values, which have seen her through an incredibly successful career leading international teams through growth and transformation, clearly align with Newton’s culture of high performance. Her deep expertise will be invaluable in driving Newton to achieve its full potential, and I’m very much looking forward to welcoming Helen to the leadership team in the new year.”
Founded in 2001, Newton is a UK origin specialist in operational improvement. The company looks to help clients solve some of the most complex challenges in the public and private sector across sectors including infrastructure, defence, retail, food and drink manufacturing, healthcare, and social care. Beurier joins as chief people officer at a time of continuous change for Newton’s top team – having just promoted Phillips to the rank of managing partner.
Beurier’s appointment marks a further addition to the company’s robust leadership team, which has been built out to support Newton’s phenomenal growth journey. She will be responsible for driving Newton’s people agenda forward by developing global organisational and talent strategies.
Commenting on her new position, Beurier added, “Newton has a dazzling array of talent and the intent to embrace an ambitious, accelerated path for growth within and beyond the UK. I was instantly impressed with Newton’s culture and commitment to its exceptional people, who are unlocking challenges within some of the largest employers in the UK. This role, operating at board level, offers a unique opportunity to bring my international experience to the fore and, ultimately, deliver even more value to clients by nurturing the unique people experience Newton offers that supports everyone to perform at the highest level.”
Beurier joins Newton with over 25 years of human resources leadership experience at major corporations including Marks & Spencer, PepsiCo, and GlaxoSmithKline. She is recognised as a true industry thought leader, actively and publicly sharing her expertise on people operations, workplace culture and transformation, and organisational design, innovation, and effectiveness.
