David Walters joins the Skarbek team as executive consultant
Skarbek Associates has added a new executive consultant to its UK team. David Walters brings three decades of pharmaceutical experience to the firm.
Founded in 2012, Skarbek Associates is a consulting firm focused primarily on strategy implementation in the life sciences and FMCG sectors. From offices in Weybridge and Singapore, the firm services clients ranging from FTSE 100 and global multinationals, top law firms to those at the early stages of their journey.
As Skarbek looks to build its expertise for a busy 2024, the firm has welcomed a new executive consultant to its UK team. David Walters brings more than 30 years of commercial experience to Skarbek from the pharmaceutical industry.
A seasoned and accomplished leader in strategy execution, with expertise in portfolio optimisation, launch excellence, business transformation, and supply chain rationalisation, his most recent role, saw him lead the European Commercial Operations function at ViiV Healthcare.
It was there that he successfully enabled access to ViiV’s new portfolio of HIV medicine in a tough and complex payer environment. Prior to this, Walters also worked at GSK for 25 years, most recently as head of the firm’s dermatology and allergy franchises, delivering year-on-year growth on an established product portfolio.
