Eden McCallum Amsterdam adds Cyrus Ditzel, joins from BCG

Cyrus Ditzel, previously a Principal with The Boston Consulting Group, has joined Eden McCallum. Based in Amsterdam, Ditzel has been tasked with expanding Eden McCallum’s footprint in the Consumer Goods industry.

“I’m excited to be joining the team – I love Eden McCallum’s entrepreneurial spirit and the agility of its consulting approach,” says Cyrus Ditzel. He joins the firm after spending more than ten years with The Boston Consulting Group, where he climbed the ranks from Associate to most recently Principal. At the strategy consultancy, Ditzel’s client work spanned a broad range of industries and topics with a specific focus on Consumer Goods and Marketing & Sales. He has among others supported industry and category leaders tackling complex strategic issues and change programmes, and operated out of BCG’s Amsterdam and New York offices.

In his new role as Associate Partner with Eden McCallum – a top tier consultancy renowned for its flexible resourcing model – Cyrus will focus on further expanding the firm’s Consumer Goods practice across the Benelux. “I look forward to supporting clients in a way that is truly tailored to their specific business needs,” he comments. The firm’s 300+ client portfolio includes multinationals, large private equity firms and mid-sized corporates with a base in the region.

Heleen Wachters, who co-founded Eden McCallum’s Benelux office in 2008 and co-leads the operations, says she is “thrilled to welcome” Ditzel to the team. Last month Eden McCallum added Wouter van Essenberg, another former BCG Principal, to its team in the Netherlands.
