Darryl Petticrew and Lucy Forward join LanciaConsult
International management consulting firm LanciaConsult has bolstered its UK team with two new hires: Darryl Petticrew in Belfast, and Lucy Forward in Bristol. The managing consultants will help the firm grow its footprint across the UK.
First launched in Singapore in 2012, LanciaConsult has since grown its footprint and reputation through delivering complex projects to global clients. This has seen the firm branch out to offices in Europe, helping LanciaConsult support clients in the definition and delivery of complex business and technology transformations.
Darryl Petticrew joins LanciaConsult from Deloitte’s Belfast office, to help extend this fast-growing footprint in Northern Ireland. A former manager in Deloitte’s human capital practice, Petticrew spent four years with the Big Four firm, and has also spent time in senior roles with The Strategic Investment Board, and Ulster Rugby.
Specialising in programme and project delivery, Petticrew has previously overseen a diverse range of projects from tax transformations through to implementation of global human resource systems. In the coming months, he will apply this knowhow to help grow the firm’s footprint across the island of Ireland, where he believes “there is enormous potential” for ambitious expansion goals.
Commenting on his arrival, Petticrew said on LanciaConsult’s website, “I loved my time at Deloitte and probably would have comfortably stayed there for the rest of my career. However, I had a real craving for building and shaping something from the ground up, being closer to decision making and fast paced growth – Lancia offers this and more. Lancia is fiercely ambitious, and I felt that energy from day one. I am happier, feel more engaged than ever and genuinely challenged by the work I’m involved in. Working with great people makes the difference in any job and over the course of my career I have been lucky to experience that consistently.”
Lucy Forward meanwhile brings another portion of Big Four experience to LanciaConsult – joining the Bristol office, from KPMG. She spent eight years with the firm, latterly as a manager in its people and change management wing.
Speaking via a LinkedIn post with almost 200 engagements, Forward commented, “After 8 years of calling KPMG UK my home, I’m on to pastures new… As a change consultant, I know change can be scary, but I’m looking forward to this one! I’m pretty excited for this next chapter at LanciaConsult in Bristol. I will be joining my new team at Lancia next week, and despite not having had my first day yet, I’ve already had an exceptionally warm welcome - thanks team! I’m feeling positive about 2023!”
Looking ahead, the managing consultant will bring the knowledge and expertise she has gained over the past eight years as a people consultant, to help LanciaConsult expand in the space. She also looks forward to supporting the more junior members of the firm, and supporting them while continuing to grow and learn herself.
