Aditya Kochhar becomes director in Altman Solon London office
Strategy consultancy Altman Solon has appointed a new director to its London office. Aditya Kochhar joins the firm with more than a decade of experience from some of the world’s most recognisable strategy brands.

Formed following the merger between US-based Altman Vilandrie & Co and Europe-based Solon Management Consulting, Altman Solon is a global strategy consultancy. It bills itself as the largest such firm to focus exclusively on the telecommunications, media, and technology (TMT) sectors. With 13 offices spanning North America, Europe, Asia and Oceania, the firm services clients including leading telcos, infrastructure investors and fibre operators to shape their business plans around the emerging trends of the industry.
The arrival of Kochhar as a director at Altman Solon further boosts this reputation, as he brings significant management consulting experience to its London wing. This includes a five-year spell with Kearney as a consultant in the Asia-Pacific region, and four years with EY’s strategy brand, EY-Parthenon. He also has worked on the enterprise side at telco giant Ericsson, both through in-house consulting positions in Sweden and as head of strategy for UK and Ireland.
Loooking ahead, the digital infrastructure and information and communications technology services expert will work with Altman Solon’s global private equity and corporate clients on a variety of TMT focus areas. These include digital infrastructure such as fibre, towers, data centres, telecoms and technology services such as cloud, IT transformation and managed services.
