Julie Page, the CEO of Marsh’s UK Consumer and Commercial business, is to re-join Aon after almost two decades. Page, who will start her new role midway April, has been named Managing Director of Aons’s UK National business.

In 2008, Julie Page became Chief Executive Officer of the UK Consumer and Commercial business of Marsh. In this role, she was responsible for the strategic direction and growth of the firm’s practice across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Additionally, Page also is the chair of British Insurance Brokers’ Association new international and wholesale brokers’ advisory board, as of 2014. Before her most recent role at Marsh, Page held various challenges at the risk insurance consultancy since starting at the firm in 1999. Prior to that, Page worked at Aon for eight years where she served in a number of risk and consulting positions.

Aon recently announced that Page has re-joined the firm – one of the globe’s largest risk broker and consultancies – taking on the role of Managing Director. The new role will see her responsible for further advancing the firm’s mid-market National business, through, among others, the application of Trio Risk Management as well as by embedding Aon Client Promise and Aon’s service methodology into the heart of its business.

Andrew Tunnicliffe, CEO Aon Risk Solutions UK, says that Page will be “a significant addition” to the firm’s leadership team, and adds: “She comes to us with fantastic experience and knowledge. Undoubtedly she will provide strong leadership for our UK National business with a real focus on growth, and I look forward to her becoming a vital part of our team.”
