Slalom promotes Paul Squire to director of transformation
After leading the Manchester office through its launch and growth to a 120-strong team, Paul Squire has been promoted to the role of Director of Transformation for Slalom in the UK and Ireland.
Following years of experience at Accenture, EY and leading his own consulting firm, Paul Squire early 2019 took on the challenge to kickstart Slalom’s then freshly opened Manchester office. Under his leadership, the office grew into a 120-person team serving organisations throughout the northwest.
“I’m proud of what we’ve achieved in Manchester over the past four years. Starting a business in 2019, just before the pandemic, made for unpredictable challenges, but the tenacity and adaptability of our people has helped us grow strongly,” Squire said.
In his new role, Squire will serve as the leader of Slalom’s client-focused offerings across the region. “I will be working closely with leaders in our Manchester, London, and Dublin businesses, to shape and deliver some of our clients’ most impactful initiatives. At Slalom, we take love seriously, and our focus on our customers and their customers is unwavering.”
Meanwhile, in Manchester, Squire has been succeeded by Caroline Grant, who similarly has a background at Accenture.
Originally launched in the United States in 2001, Slalom has since grown its footprint to eight countries. The firm entered the UK market in 2014, with its Manchester office opening its doors in 2019. Last year, the award-winning firm passed the 500-employees mark in the UK, and 13,000 mark worldwide.
