Josh Hutchison joins partner team of Channel 3
Former Moorhouse expert Josh Hutchison has joined Channel 3 as a partner. He brings close to a decade of public and private sector experience to the firm.
Speaking via a LinkedIn post with more than 200 engagements, Hutchison said of his new role, “Delighted to announce that I have joined Channel 3 as a partner, supporting the organisation as it continues to grow, through a demonstration of internal capability, subject expertise, and passion for driving change within the NHS!”
Founded in 2009, Channel 3 is a healthcare advisory firm that helps organisations in the health, public and third sectors with the delivery of their digital transformation agenda. The Southwark-based firm provides advisory, programme delivery and talent management services across the UK.
In the last year, the firm has regularly been selected for major transformation projects across the healthcare sector. According to the firm, recent clients have included NHS England, Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust, University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire, Greater Manchester ICS and Bermuda Hospitals Board – making the social care sector a key driver of growth with the firm.
As it looks to build on this growth, following its 2021 management buyout, it has committed to a number of senior hires.
Hutchison arrives having spent a year as an independent consultant, supporting public sector organisations with large scale transformation initiatives across digital and wider portfolios of work. Prior to that he spent three years with Moorhouse, where he was made a senior consultant in 2019, and led the delivery of complex multi-million pound programmes and strategic initiatives across public sector organisations.
Earlier, he also worked with Capita, under the Capita Transformation division, as part of its Capita graduate pathway practice.
Looking ahead, Hutchison specialises in digitally-enabled transformation in primary care. His knowledge will prove important to Channel 3, as it looks to support clients grappling with a number of systemic challenges in the healthcare sector – from lacks of funding, to spiralling hospital waiting times.
A comment from Channel 3 announcing the appointment on LinkedIn said, “We are excited to welcome Josh to our partner team. He's no stranger to driving significant cultural change initiatives and supporting the implementation of impactful recommendations.”
“In addition to his professional accomplishments, Josh was the chair of the Young Management Consultants Association, overseeing a board of 12 vice-chairs and supporting over 4,000 consultants across the industry… Stay tuned for the remarkable contributions he'll bring to our clients.”
Last week, Channel 3 was named one of the leading healthcare consulting firms in the UK.
