AES Sustainability Consultants headcount passes 100
A key milestone for any consultancy is taking its number of experts past 100 people. AES Sustainability Consultants has finally reached that tally, as the firm looks to meet the changing sustainability needs of clients in the construction sector.
Based in Tiverton, Devon, AES Sustainability Consultants is a technical advisory firm which delivers value engineered solutions across the housebuilding and construction industries. Since 2005, the firm has provided high advice and technical support throughout the lifecycle of a development, from land buying and planning stages right through to post-construction testing and certification.
One of the firm’s key service lines is sustainability – demand for which has been booming in recent years. The global market for sustainability consulting market is set to grow to $16 billion by 2027, and amid that AES has been commended by with awards, as well as being receiving a bronze rating as one of the UK’s top construction and infrastructure consultancies.
Now, as the firm prepares for its latest chapter of growth, it has appointed passed another major milestone. AES has grown its headcount to more than 100 staff.
A statement on the AES website said, “Today marks an important milestone for the AES Group as we’ve welcomed our 100th employee to the team. We are incredibly proud of our rapid rate of growth over recent years and all the hard work that everyone in the team has put in to help get us to this point.”
Recent projects AES has overseen include planning for the Nobel Park development in Epsom, one of the first to meet the UK’s new Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4 criteria. The firm also worked across all phases of the Centenary Quay development in Southampton, helping to ensure that energy and sustainability targets were met cost effectively. And the firm collaborated on the Bath Western Riverside, a multi-phased development consisting of residential dwellings and commercial units, supplying engagement with the design team to ensure that the most cost-effective and viable solutions were used to meet the necessary requirements per phase.
