Cluttons hires new partner to lead business development
Paula Viner has become a partner with Cluttons, as the property consultancy targets strategic growth. Viner will lead the firm’s business development and marketing function, bringing two decades of experience to the role.
Employing over 240 staff, Cluttons partners corporates, developers and private investors across the region to supply portfolio management, funding advice, land sale work, property valuation and home letting, among other services. As the firm looks to expand amid a booming housing market, Cluttonshas revamped its branding, and redesigned its offices to facilitate a more hybrid and collaborative style of work.
As it reorganises its business further, to support its key areas of expertise in residential, infrastructure, investor and occupier services, it has installed Paula Viner. The new Partner will work to help communicate its changed identity and offerings, to clients and prospective employees.
Viner joins with over 20 years of brand development and marketing experience in the property industry, including 10 years at Cushman & Wakefield in various marketing roles including head of UK marketing. Most recently she has been working with Europa Capital, DTZ Investors and the Association of Property Lenders through her own consultancy.
In her new role, Viner will be responsible for expanding expertise across the Cluttons’s key market sectors. She will oversee a team of experts delivering content, insight and new opportunities for clients. This will ultimately help the company as it continues to target strategic growth, and is the first of a number of key new hires to be announced in the coming weeks, according to a statement from Cluttons.
Speaking on her new challenge, Viner said, “Cluttons is an exciting business that puts its people first and is focussed on delivering excellent client service. I am excited to play a part in the company’s next chapter and working with the existing team to support the business in achieving its objectives.”
In addition to its refreshed brand, Cluttons has also sought to grow its offices and headcount in the last 12 months. In late 2021, this saw Cluttons launch a new hub in the North of England, based on King Street in Manchester. The move came as part of its corporate expansion to grow in the right locations to serve client needs. In the last three months alone, the strategic property advisor has added four hires as it seeks to scale up the team across all disciplines.
