Lucy Birch joins Kantar Public as Chief Marketing Officer
Lucy Birch has been named as Chief Marketing Officer within Kantar Public. Looking ahead, she will work to oversee the launch of new offer areas, while building new client relations within the government and public realms.
On her appointment, Birch commented, “It is an immense privilege to be joining Kantar Public at such an exciting point in their journey. Birch’s career has seen her accrue over 20 years of marketing and communications leadership experience across B2B, B2C and the public sector. She joins evidence and advisory business Kantar Public from PwC, where she led global Strategic Marketing. Most recently she was responsible for the Big Four firm’s marketing and brand campaign to launch its new global strategy and ESG proposition around the world. Prior to this global role, she led Marketing and Brand for PwC in the UK, transforming and building a marketing and brand function.

Birch takes up the role of Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, and will also sit on Kantar Public’s global board. She will now look to build on Kantar Public’s global reputation as a provider of end-to-end evaluation and advisory to international governments and public realm clients, while helping emphasise the roll out of new offer areas.
Initially part of the Kantar Group, Kantar Public was created in 2016 to partner with the firm’s clients around the world, assisting with the next generation of public policy challenges. The organisation has roots in many of the world’s best known social research businesses, including Infratest in Germany, BMRB in the UK, Sofres in France, IMRB in India, Ibope in Brazil, Nipo in the Netherlands, and Obop in Poland. In May 2022, Kantar Public became an independent entity, when the wider organisation agreed its sale to Trilantic Europe.
