Alpha FMC rebrands Data Solutions division as Aiviq
The data solutions wing of Alpha Financial Markets Consulting is launching under a new corporate identity. Alpha Data Solutions will now operate under the Aiviq banner, in a move to better illustrate its specialist offering.
A wholly owned subsidiary of Alpha FMC, Alpha Data Solutions was established in 2017, following the acquisition of TrackTwo. Since then, the entity has grown organically and by acquisition, and now comprises of 40 data and technology professionals across its London and Belgrade offices, supporting a client base of over 35 firms in the global investment management industry.
The decision to rebrand to Aiviq was taken by the firm’s leaders as it looks to present a clearer sense of differentiation in the data solutions market.
Working with investment managers around the world, Aiviq offers cloud native technology for sales and business development, risk and regulatory reporting, financial planning and analysis, marketing and client experience, as well as client service and operations.
Lee Griggs, Head of Aiviq commented, “We are delighted to present our new brand. The name Aiviq reflects the spirit of the organisation where the fusion of both technical and industry expertise is combined with the passion to innovate, partner and deliver. We are all extremely excited to continue our growth as Aiviq and further expand our growing list of customers.”
Regarding its specialist offering, the term ‘Aiviq’ is a play on the optimal balance of artificial intelligence (AI) and human intelligence (IQ) work. With the drive to digital working still in full swing, signifies a harmonious combination of the two that clients can achieve with the support of the firm.
According to Aiviq Executive Director, Greg Glass, the firm’s clients consistently mention “they have too many data vendors offering overlapping solutions” leaving investment managers with the cost, risk and complexity of connecting overlapping data silos before they can realise value. However, modular solutions provided by Aiviq can allow clients to “start small but scale fast,” switching on additional modules to extend the client data management and analytics platform as they go – enabling for a seamless synthesis between AI and IQ.
Luke Tones, Head of Product & Marketing at Aiviq, added, “Our product strategy focuses on connecting disparate client datasets from across the industry and integrating advanced analytics into easy-to-digest user experiences. Combining all of our data and analytics solutions within a single platform emphasises Aiviq’s continued investment in solving investment management’s most challenging data problems.”
