Deloitte hires Emma Franklin and Alastair Stewart in Yorkshire

Professional services firm Deloitte has strengthened its consulting and financial advisory offerings in Yorkshire with two senior hires. Emma Franklin and Alastair Stewart both arrive as directors to work across the firm’s regional business.

Richard Bray, Partner in consulting at Deloitte across the North of England, said, “It’s an exciting time to join the firm… Emma and Alistair have a shared desire to improve our public services to make them more efficient to deliver and more accessible for the people that need them.”

Deloitte is presently looking to expand its consulting offering across the North of England. From its bases in Manchester, Leeds and Newcastle, the firm supplies clients with the creativity and capabilities of its global business to achieve sustainable, long-term impact within Northern organisations and communities.

Franklin’s focus as a Director with Deloitte is on supporting local government clients and partners to develop financial sustainability while creating improved life outcomes for their citizens. She arrives at Deloitte from PwC, where she specialised in  consulting for local and regional government.

Stewart meanwhile is a transport specialist, having worked in this sector as a management consultant and in industry. He will continue to support transport organisations to make the case for transformational projects and programmes – having previously helped clients to secure over £40 billion of transport investment within the last five years, during his spell with PA Consulting.
