Mary Shelton Rose named PwC’s new TMT leader

PwC has installed Mary Shelton Rose as its new Technology, Media and Telecoms Leader. A veteran of the Big Four firm, she has worked for over three decades as a Global Client Partner.

Relocating to the UK, the new TMT head was previously based in the US. There, she worked at PwC for over 30 years, serving as a Global Client Partner for some of the firm's largest clients. With experience across a range of sectors including technology, consumer markets, entertainment and media as well as telecommunications, she has extensive knowledge of delivering assurance, consulting and tax services to the company’s clients.

She has previously held a number of other leadership roles across the PwC network including US Brexit Response Leader and Leader of the Trust Leadership Institute, a forum bringing together business executives across industries to determine ways in which their companies can earn trust and deliver sustainable outcomes to impact business and society. She was also Executive Director of PwC’s Exchange Programme where clients engage with industry leaders on business issues while building peer connections.

The industry in the UK is going through significant changes at present. These include high interest in the metaverse, a continued roll out of 5G, and fast broadband infrastructure and as well as an active deals market. To support PwC’s clients across the industry, Mary Shelton Rose will work to help collaboratively shape innovative solutions to address their most pressing issues.
