John Harney joins Aon as Senior Consultant

John Harney has joined Aon as the Senior Consultant for the firm’s corporate pensions consulting team. He brings almost a decade of actuarial consulting experience to the firm.

Aon is a British-American multinational professional services firm that, among others, advises on a range of financial risk-mitigation products. These include insurance, pension administration, and health-insurance plans. The company employs over 50,000 employees in 120 countries.

As it looks to boost its UK team, Aon has added John Harney to its pensions consulting team. As a Senior Consultant with the firm, he will help pension scheme sponsors to manage pension risks and maximise potential upsides.

At the same time, Harney will support corporate clients in running their pension schemes and manage their pensions risk, while also optimising outcomes for all stakeholders.

Harney joins the firm having worked for the last four years as a Consultant for Lane Clark & Peacock. He also spent multiple spells with WTW – the firm Aon almost sealed a massive deal to acquire in 2021 – and brings extensive consultancy experience to his new team.
