Rob Hanley, Tom Scatchard and India Kendrick join investor TDC
A trio of transaction consulting experts have arrived at private debt fund, Tosca Debt Capital. Rob Hanley, Tom Scatchard and India Kendrick have all joined the senior team to support TDC’s ambitious growth plans.
Tosca Debt Capital (TDC) is a regional debt fund focussed on providing flexible funding for northern SMEs and mid-market corporate businesses seeking investment to support their strategic growth and development plans.
As the investor looks to accelerate in the coming year, the firm has made three new appointments.
Rob Hanley joins as Investment Director and will help TDC’s portfolio companies to fulfil their strategic plans, support bolt on activity and use his credit skills to identify new investment opportunities for the firm.
Prior to TDC, Hanley gained significant experience at international management consulting firm AlixPartners, working on several high profile financial and operational restructuring assignments across a broad range of sectors and geographies. He also spent time as an Associate Director with Grant Thornton.
Richard Williams, Partner at TDC, said, “We have known Rob for a number of years and believe he will be a great addition to our team, bringing exceptional experience in the debt markets across the full range of transactional scenarios.”
Tom Scatchard arrives from BDO, where he was most recently a Manager in Transaction Services. He previously spent four years with Moore Stephens, in the corporate finance team working on both transaction services and lead advisory projects.
India Kendrick also comes to TDC from BDO with a background in transaction services and audit. She previously spent the last five years with the consultancy, latterly becoming Assistant Manager, Transaction Services.
Along with Scatchard, she will work on expanding TDC’s portfolio of investments, which typically comprise lower mid-market deals ranging from £10 - 30 million and supporting new deal underwriting.
Williams commented, “We’re delighted to have Tom and India on board to diversify the skillsets in our portfolio team and add more flexibility to our investment resource.”
Founded in 2015, the Manchester based company deployed £150 million of investment in 2021 in UK mid-market sector.
