Isio appoints Ed Wilson as partner in investment advisory

Isio has appointed Ed Wilson as a partner in its investment advisory team. He brings three decades of experience to the role, as the consultancy continues to grow its independent strategic advice offering.

Professional services firm Isio launched as an independent consulting firm in early 2020. In the two years since its launch, it has committed to rapid expansions of its office network and headcount – becoming a leading independent UK provider of actuarial consulting, pensions administration, investment advisory, employee benefits and wealth management services. 

The firm boasts a national team of more than 800 people across nine regional hubs, and with financial backing from Exponent, it acquired Premier Pensions Management at the turn of the year. As it looks to further extend its services to existing and new clients, Isio has recruited pensions advisory veteran Ed Wilson to its London office.

Arriving from WTW, where he was Head of Corporate Investment Consulting, Wilson also accrued senior leadership experience at PwC and HSBC. In his new role with Isio, he will primarily focus on supporting the Isio investment business, as it continues its strong growth trajectory. This will involve helping grow and develop the team, taking on client responsibilities, and driving new business opportunities.
