Steven Hargreaves named Head of UK Consulting at Delta Capita
Delta Capita has appointed a new Head of Consulting for its UK wing. The capital markets advisory firm installed Steve Hargreaves to the role, tapping into almost three decades of financial services experience.
Global Head of Consulting at Delta Capita, Steve Vinnicombe, commented, “Steve is a first-class consulting leader. He’s earned a reputation for partnering with clients to reliably deliver for them. He also understands the importance of creating a great place to work through investing in our people. I’m looking forward to seeing the business take its next step forward under his leadership.”
Hargreaves brings more than 25 years of financial services experience, spanning across both consulting and industry roles. His experience includes successfully leading and growing global client accounts, leading the capital markets industry domain and building new consulting capabilities.
Having commenced his career at Andersen Consulting, he joined Natwest Markets, before spending three years as a Manager in the capital markets team of Accenture. Later, he would become a Senior Partner at Capco, before spending a year as a Managing Director at HSBC, where he led global cost management programmes, in addition to shaping and mobilising significant programmes of change.
Hargreaves said of his new role, “I am proud and excited to be joining the Delta Capita team as they continue their remarkable growth journey, and I am confident that our unique combination of industry knowledge, consulting expertise, and people-first culture will enable us to offer our clients a compelling alternative to the larger players.”
Delta Capita’s managed services allows banks and financial services clients to externalise and mutualise costs through sharing people, technology, infrastructure and management oversight of critical but non-client differentiating functions.
The firm is investing consistently in its high performing UK and global consulting business, as demand grows. Recently this saw the company break the 1,000-employee mark, with its acquisition of JDX Consulting.
