“Since we opened our first UK office in London, back in 2011, we’ve been delighted by the year-on-year growth the company has charted and the overall contribution our staff have made to the global Saggezza business,” Williams noted.

The firm surpassed the 100 employee mark late in 2021, bolstering its teams in Sunderland, London, Birmingham and Edinburgh. This included the recruiting of 10 graduates in November, along with a range of workers, from senior java developers to test engineers, senior front-end developers and programme directors also arriving.

Plans for 2022

Saggezza is now anticipating further growth in 2022, following a string of new client wins. This expansion will now help fund an ambitious recruitment drive, which will see it create scores of jobs over the next 12 months. Saggezza is currently recruiting for a number of developers, software testers and salesforce consultants across Edinburgh, Sunderland and Birmingham, with more roles to be advertised over the coming months.

Among the firm’s recent arrivals, Senior Java Developer Fiona Joseph Samy said in a release from the firm that she is “delighted to be joining Saggezza at what is such an exciting time for the company.” Having been attracted to the company by its diverse client base, she is now “looking forward to learning about the different technologies and practices used in their industries."

Another, Salesforce Developer Paul Reid, arrived having recently worked for Accenture. From Saggezza’s Sunderland office, Reid hopes that “by working with both new and experienced technology professionals I'll be able to quickly develop knowledge, take on exciting new opportunities and advance my career.”
