Having spent almost three decades with the firm, Lisa Rose is Accenture’s new head of HR in its UK and Ireland wing. Rose joins the UKI leadership team, and will now lead the firm’s HR teams across the two countries.

Speaking on the news, Rose said, “It’s comes at an exciting time as our highly-skilled people embrace new ways of working to connect together, and we recruit and develop more technology skills to grow for the future.”

In December 2021, Accenture released plans to create 3,000 new technology roles in the UK by 2025. Half of the jobs are set to be stationed outside London, as the firm looks to bolster its regional wings.

Based in Lancashire, Rose is responsible for Accenture’s talent management and recruitment services in the UK and Ireland, overseeing the organisation’s workforce strategy and operations. Looking ahead, Rose will play a crucial role in the recruitment drive.

Commenting on the appointment, Accenture’s UKI Market Unit Lead, Simon Eaves, said, “She brings an incredible set of skills as we embark on ambitious growth and redefine how we work during a time of huge change. By expanding across the regions, including training more apprentices, we are building a workforce that brings the best of technology and human ingenuity to our clients and communities.”

Having spent 27 years at Accenture, Rose most recently led HR in Ireland for three years, also overseeing a period of rapid growth in the country. She has also held senior roles as Accenture’s HR Lead for Financial Services in Europe and Latin America and global HR lead for Security. Meanwhile she also set up Accenture’s Analyst Consulting Group to develop early career consultants.

Rose takes on the role from Candida Mottershead. After leading HR in the UK and Ireland for five years, Mottershead has been promoted to become Accenture’s HR Lead for Technology in Europe.
