Projective wins 2015 Golden Bridge Export Award
Projective, a program management specialist focused solely on the financial services sector, has scooped a ‘Golden Bridge Export Award’ for its successful expansion trajectory in the UK.
Now in their 19th year, the Golden Bridge Awards are presented annually to the most successful Belgian or Luxembourger business in the goods and services sector active in the UK market for at least the past three years. The awards are a joint initiative of the Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain (BLCC) and the British Chamber of Commerce in Belgium (COBCOE). In total six awards are handed out across four categories: Trade & Export Award (2x), Best Medium Sized Company (2x), Best Small Company and Best Newcomer.
Among the finalists for the Golden Bridge Awards was Projective, a Belgium-origin consulting and project management firm with over 100 staff in Belgium, the Netherlands and the UK. Its London-operations was launched in 2011, and on the back of stellar growth the team has grown to 25, making the UK Projective’s second-biggest market. In the run-up to the award ceremony Stefan Dierckx, CEO of Projective, said to Consultancy.uk that he believed the firm was well positioned to scoop the award, and roughly one month down the line, his intuition has turned out spot on. Last night, during the award ceremony held in London, Projective was unveiled as winner in the Best Small Company category.
In the jury report, Projective is praised for two key areas. Its successful market entry into the UK – one of the most competitive consulting markets in Europe – stands out, says the jury. “Projective has grown substantially in the UK over the past 4 years. Winning the Best Small-Sized Company Award is an acknowledgement of the hard work that they have put into growing the company in the UK and for their clients, proof of their trust and confidence in Projective.” The growth can according to BLCC and COBCOE be attributed to a number of factors, including “top quality services” delivered by experienced project managers and a unique business model. “Projective are not a ‘traditional consulting company’. The firm remains entirely neutral and independent, while delivering the client’s agenda by working seamlessly with multi-disciplinary, multi-vendor, mixed resource teams.”
Secondly, the jury speaks highly of the firm’s organisational approach, which nurtures involvement and commitment. “The flat organisational structure encourages all employees to build and grow themselves and Projective as a company, by getting involved in areas such as marketing, HR, finance or IT support. This means that the team is continuously stimulated and highly motivated, and this certainly contributes to the company's success.”
Other winners of the 2015 Golden Bridge Export Awards are Soudal (Trade & Export Award for Belux Companies), Ignition (Trade & Export Award for British companies), NMC (Best Medium Sized Company), RWS (Best Medium Sized Company) and Syx Automations (Best Newcomer).
