Sarah Bond joins Genioo as global head of freelance talent
Genioo has strengthened its team with Sarah Bond, who has been appointed as Co-Head of the UK office and Global Head of Freelance Talent.
Bond joins the international consulting firm, which has a core team of 60 consultants across five offices internationally and a network of 1,450 independent consultants, from Axiom, where she was Global Head of Talent Strategy and led the 50-strong talent team across three continents.
Prior to Axiom, Bond worked in a legal search boutique and a large legal recruitment consultancy where she specialised in recruiting solicitors for law firms, before moving into a business operations role. She began her career at Herbert Smith Freehills, a renowned international law firm, where she trained and qualified as a solicitor.
Now at Genioo, Bond leads the newly formed UK office (together with Lodewijk Offerhaus). As the Global Head of Freelance Talent, she oversees an international team of experienced staffing professionals responsible for the recruitment and staffing of Genioo’s independent consulting community.
“Genioo's ambition to scale and build an industry-leading specialised consulting company and its desire to revolutionise the industry really attracted me to the role. We are set apart by our approach, our people, and our uniquely flexible resourcing model. I am delighted to be joining the Genioo leadership team and I’m looking forward to supporting our outstanding community of global talent,” said Bond.
Alex Brunner, the Founder of Genioo, said: “Sarah will help us to leverage our play into the megatrend of the independent workforce, combining independent workers with our own consultants to create high performing teams. Sarah is an incredible addition to our team and her contribution will form a vital part of our talent management strategy going forward.”
