New CEO John Lunn to lead Re_Set into next growth phase
Strategy consultancy Re_Set has announced the appointment of its new CEO. Former PA Consulting Partner John Lunn takes on the role following more than three decades in professional services work.
Speaking on the news, John Lunn noted, “Re_Set is leading the way as a consultancy that truly walks the talk when it comes to innovation and sustainability. As one of the first consultancies to become a certified B Corp, Re_Set has some impressive projects to its name, most recently its work on the Primark Cares sustainability strategy, that are already having a real impact. I’m very much looking forward to building on this success and working with such a talented and dynamic team.”
James Bidwell, retail and tourism leader and owner of Springwise, and Sophie Albizua, private equity and digital specialist, launched Re_Set in 2018. The London-based advisory firm caters to the innovation and transformation needs of UK businesses, as companies across the UK look to adapt to growing innovation and sustainability demands.
As CEO, John will lead growth and build on the consultancy’s already successful B Corp platform, with a focus on sustainability, innovation, purpose and digital. John has a successful track record in driving business transformation in FTSE 100 organisations, and was also part of the leadership team at Moorhouse Consulting, which was successfully scaled and sold. Prior to this, he was a Partner at PA Consulting – where he worked for almost a decade. Lunn also held roles with General Motors, PwC, and BT, among others.
Re_Set Co-founder and Chair Bidwell commented, “John is hugely respected in the industry and brings an incredible track record in driving business transformation and leading high-performing teams. John will be instrumental in taking us forward into our next phase of growth as we continue to work with clients to put innovation and sustainability at the heart of business strategy. On a personal level, I am really excited to be working alongside him.”
The move will allow for its founders to focus more on client work, growth, and other projects. In the case of Bidwell, this includes being Chair of innovation house Springwise, and being a UK B Corp ambassador.
