Following this inaugural year as a Worldwide Supplier to this year’s Ryder Cup, Capgemini's status will elevate to Worldwide Partner for the coming three tournaments. Its digital transformation capabilities will help to enhance the Ryder Cup for its fans and organisers.

First established in 1927, the Ryder Cup is a biennial men's golf competition between teams from Europe and the US. The 43rd Ryder Cup Matches were held in the US in late September 2021, on the Straits course at Whistling Straits, Haven, Wisconsin. Going into the tournament, Europe was the holder of the Ryder Cup after its win over the US in 2018 at Le Golf National. However, after fielding its youngest team in its history, the US was rewarded for giving youth a chance by regaining the Ryder Cup with a record 19–9 victory.

The next Ryder Cup will take place in 2023. The tournament will be a first, with Italy playing host to the Ryder Cup at newly revitalized Marco Simone Golf & Country Club, built only 10 miles outside the city of Rome. It will be the first time the Ryder Cup has been staged in Italy.Meanwhile, in its new capacity, Capgemini will also support the 2025 Ryder Cup in Farmingdale, New York, and the 2027 Ryder Cup in County Limerick, Ireland,
