Global consulting giant Accenture has confirmed the appointment of Stephanie Jamison as its new European strategy consulting head. Jamison will take up the role in the autumn, when incumbent Mauro Macchi takes on his new position as CEO of Accenture in Italy.

Strategy consulting, often referred to as strategy consultancy, strategic advisory or boardroom consulting, is regarded by the majority of consultants as the most 'high-end' and prestigious segments within the professional services industry. A strategy is defined as “a plan with the aim of  realising long term goals", and organisations regularly engage with strategy consultants to support them in developing and implementing business strategies.

Looking to help clients accelerate their growth with long-term planning, Accenture Strategy & Consulting advises C-level management in their strategic blueprints – based on data analysis, experience, expertise and an innovative approach. Together with a diverse team of experts, the firm aids clients in their current markets, surpassing the disruption through our end-to-end services, consolidating future success for organisations.

Stephanie Jamison, Strategy & Consulting lead for Europe, Accenture

As the firm prepares for heightened demand with clients looking to boost their performance in the coming economic recovery, Accenture has appointed Stephanie Jamison as its Strategy & Consulting lead for Europe.  In this role Jamison, who is UK based, will be responsible for bringing together Accenture’s talent across industries, functions, practices, and ecosystem partners in Europe to deliver transformation for Accenture’s clients.

Prior to this role Jamison helmed Accenture’s global utility industry sector since early 2020, pioneering creative client solutions at speed and scale by combining deep industry knowledge with Accenture’s services and ecosystem partnerships. She has also been a key lead for the World Economic Forum Covid-19 Industry Action Group on the Future of Utilities, focused on accelerating the energy transition to a net-zero future.

Assuming her role at the start of September 2021, Jamison succeeds Mauro Macchi. Having been with Accenture for 14 years, Macchi was appointed as its European strategy head in 2020, however he is now vacating the role to become Managing Director of Italy, Central Europe and Greece (ICEG), alongside being named CEO of Accenture Italia.
