Wealth management and professional services firm Smith & Williamson has announced the appointment of Jenny Reed as Director in its forensics services team. Reed most recently led the audit and assurance wing of Baker Tilly International.

Jenny Reed said of the appointment, “I am excited to have joined Smith & Williamson and look forward to helping drive continued growth of the firm’s forensics services practice. I have had a longstanding ambition to work in forensics but thought I had missed the boat, having not moved into that specialism after qualifying. I am looking forward to bringing my audit technical experience to bear on forensic cases, particularly auditor negligence.”

Smith & Williamson’s forensic services team has provided a range of advice to clients for more than 25 years. It works across areas including fraud and financial crime, commercial disputes, valuations, professional negligence matters, monitoring trustee and competition services, and forensic technology.
